Welcome to my journey!
While in Thailand, completed 95 hour Thai Massage Course in Northern Thailand.
This was my first taste of formal massage training, which was amazing! The setting was a small village in northern Thailand. We learned a traditional Thai massage routine, and through the process, I realized that hands-on therapy is a passion of mine.
While in Bali, completed "Yoga Energetics and Cranial Sacral Therapy" training.
At the end of a 4-month backpacking trip through Southeast Asia, I attended my second yoga teacher training. We cultivated our ability to connect and listen on an energetic level. We met 6 days a week and practiced at 6am for 2 hours. It was an amazing experience.
August 2013 - returned to US. Began teaching yoga at the Yoga Seed Collective and enrolled in the Massage Therapy program at the Massage Therapy Institute of Davis.
This was the beginning of a significant shift in my life. I was enrolled at MTI Davis, completing my massage therapy training. I focused my energy and time on Structural Integration and Neuromuscular Therapy classes.
2013-2015 - Assisted and taught in the Yoga Seed's 265 Hour Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Training Program. Also taught yoga classes, workshops, and meditation during this time.
For three years I taught classes, workshops, and assisted the Yoga Teacher Training at the Yoga Seed Collective. I worked alongside some amazing people and connected with a beautiful community.
2014 - Started Peak Bodywork business offering Structural Integration massage.
While working as a Yoga Teacher, I started up my business as a Structural Integration Therapist. After working on family and friends practicing massage therapy for my CA state certification, most liked the massage sessions, but everyone loved the Structural Integration sessions. So, I chose to focus my work on Structural Integration.
